Christmas With My Family
The glow of the lights
Blush on pale skin
As we all wait
For Christmas Night to begin.
The family gathers round
To sing the old songs
As snowflakes fall
Down to earth in great throngs.
We go our separate ways
But only 'till morning
To each our own homes
The snow covered roads exploring.
Knowing that tomorrow
We'll see each other again
Christmas is a time
For family and friends.

Description:
So, every year my whole family all lands at my parent's house every Christmas eve after a family supper to sing carols- we "make" my uncle play his guitar. lol
And every Christmas Day we go to my grandma's for a home cooked meal- a big one (not this year though, she's sick)...it's Christmas supper at my aunt's instead.
I'm happy to be home from university so early this year so I thought I turn our usual Christmas night into a poem.
