    Christmas this year, is bound to be delightful for all!

    Are the presents all hidden, from peeking eyes to find?
    Because I don't want them opened, 'til Christmas you mind?
    Oh joy! Oh joy! All the feel of the season,
    is warming my heart! Oh won't you come,
    to celebrate with me?

    'Coz can't you hear the folks singing, with Christmas song cheers?
    And all the children screaming, "Christmas is here!"
    I've hanged up the stockings, and set up the lights,
    now we're prepared for sure my dear, but why you ask?
    Because Christmas is near!

    Oh joy! Oh joy! I can't help but wonder,
    what jolly Ol' Saint Nicolas, has planned for me this year!
    Is it a toy, for a man my age?
    Or is it a dog, for me to play with?
    Or maybe a digital camcorder, I've chanted for years?
    Whatever it is, I don't care much, because my dear,
    Christmas is near!

    and with the ones we hold dear!
    Because 'tis the time for giving,
