- I viewed the winners from the past two years. The only Sailor Moon cosplays worth noting were the Michiru with the violin, ugly Lunas, a poorly done Moon Knight and some Princess Serenity Shadow that came out before the senshi hair was released. All the other Sailor Moon Cosplays that placed were either Tuxedo Mask, warriors, or used the Senshi items. The most original uses of the Senshi item I saw were the Sailor Moon during transformation cosplay and a half decent Wicked Lady.

- BTW, kiliko, just was exactly are the "warrior senshi items"? Do you mean the "magical girl" sets? if so, then sorry, but you're being stupid. Not a SINGLE sailor moon cosplay that placed used more than the bows and at the VERY max, the gloves as well. You REALLY need to do some more research before you start talking out of your arse.

- And also, those "minimal changes?" yeah- You also forget that not every item comes in every color, so finding an item that works for one character doesn't mean it will work for another. Finding hair? Total pain in the arse, especially for characters like sailor jupiter and sailor Mercury. Finding accessories that match theirs? Also a pain in the arse. And what? You think gaia actually has shoes that work for them? Bull.

- Sorry, but you are in fact WRONG on that. 12 of the sailor moon character cosplays that have placed in the last 2 years were NOT of any of the sailor warriors, 8 of those twelve did not even use the wasabi lady solider item, and 6 of those 8 did not use ANY of the magical girl items. Your claim is unfounded. And, if you don't believe me, you can check the previous winners for yourself.

- You're right, there are given items for those shows too which is why those avatars also get slack for using said items in overdone cosplays. When Sailor Moon avatars place, it is a repetition of the related cosplays from the show, but with minimal changes such as bows, bracelets, shoes, and sleeves. There hasn't been a single sailor moon cosplay that has won without looking like a scout or without using the warrior senshi items. Their outfits aren't that different from one another.
