A little something for your reading pleasure, Genesis 3:6...
"When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it."
The last line is the important one, this cosplay takes place on that last line. Before Adam eats the apple as well, I think he'd had a moment of doubt, it doesn't say it but I'd like to believe so. - Report As Spam

As I recall, 'twas Eve who was tempted and gave in, not Adam. And in your reference in question, I believe it is not Adam holding the apple.
