- Yes, and there are items given for Naruto and Princess Peach, Mario, and Zelda, and Link, Digimon, Kingdom Hearts- Hell, even LADY FREAKING GAGA. At least when a Sailor Moon avatar places it ISN'T the same iteration of the character. And no- there are a lot more layering tricks than just the one going on here.You're just probably so used to seeing the Sailor Moon cosplays that use the entire Magical Girl set that it's hard to tell the difference.

- The reason is because the items for Sailor Moon are a given and since they've been cosplayed many times, it's a lot easier to put together and get the items from other entrants. Not to sound rude, but some aren't going to care about a little golden line at her waist. The puffy sleeves aren't anything new or difficult, neither are the armlets or bracelets. You can't boast about one layering trick you did with the bianca as a justification for your entire avatar.

- So why, when all the sailor moon cosplays that have placed have at least been different characters or different incarnations of the characters, does Sailor Moon catch so much flack?

- They either have texture to them or are too gray/silver or cover up the socks altogether. Also, as a side note- most senshi in season 5, especially the villain senshi, have vastly different and varying outfits- and some have been pulled off, other can't be pulled off correctly with the current items. Sailor Moon has been around a lot longer than most current favorite cosplays (Naruto, Death Note, Ouran Highschool Host Club) And SEVEN Princess Peach cosplays have placed in the top 10.

- Tooting my own horn here a bit, no one else before I started doing it used the biancamella layered under the angelic lace to get the waistline even nearly as close. You have to factor in other layering issues as well. Many other options for this don't work because they exclude some of the other items from being used at the same time. The boots are another issue. Gaia doesn't really offer many white boot options.

- I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, but there are actually several differences with this particular uniform than with the others. For starters, the sleeves. Most of the other senshi have small, folded sleeves, whereas chibi chibi here has round puff sleeves not to mention the color on the ends of the sleeves. You also have to look at the gloves and the waistline.
