- Title: Tiananmen Square, "Tank Man"
- Artist: Suspects the Butterfly
-
Description:
China, Beijing's Tiananmen Square, June 1989: With a single act of defiance, a lone Chinese hero revived the world's image of courage. A small, unexceptional figure in slacks and white shirt, carrying what looks to be his shopping, posts himself before an approaching tank, with a line of 17 more tanks behind it. He would become known simply as "Tank Man" or "The Unknown Rebel".

- @i6 tails Utakata: Nobody knows if he died, because nobody knows who he was. He might be a prisoner of the Chinese government, he might have been killed, or he might have escaped and be living somewhere else now. But no, he wasn't killed by the tanks.

Very interesting cosplay... 5'd.
And btw people leaving comments - the tanks did NOT run him over. It was the Chinese government that messed him up after this act of courage, not the tanks. - Report As Spam
