- Description: Sailor Venus was the first Sailor Senshi to be awakened by Artemis, one year before Sailor Moon was awakened by Luna, but Venus was the last to appear in the show's first season. Her civilian identity was Minako Aino, or Mina in the English dub. Her powers are based on light and possibly metal. In the anime, Venus Love-Me Chain is an attack Venus uses to summon a chain formed of golden energy that swirls around her, then directs it at enemies. Some may say she's the HBIC but that's debatable.
