Monkey D. Luffy eaten the Devil Fruit called Gom Gom fruit (or Gomu Gomu no Mi in original context) which given him the powers of 'rubber-man'. He can stretch any part of his body (and yes, even little jr down there). Luffy dreams to one day be King of the Pirates and look for One Piece, the treasure that his Hero, Gold Rogers who was King of the Pirates had hidden in the Grand Line. - Date: 10/01/2008

- Luffy is a difficult character to cosplay well because the accuracy of the cosplay doesn't require much - which in turns results in a very plain-looking avatar. I'll give it a 3 since the eyes show some extra effort towards sprucing it up.
