- Description: When a county was torn by conflict, the emperor wished for peace & told a buddhist carver to sculpt an icon of an angel. The carver was not happy with anything he did. Then Someone told him there was a sacred tree that grew into a plum tree that was 1000 years old, & if he used carved the image of an angel into wood from that tree it would house the very spirit itself & become a inspiring sculpture. The carver found the tree & met the spirit of the 1000 year-old plum tree, the scarlet angel.
