- I agree with Aglo - but I think you mean something more along the lines of the dark feminine, a representation of something quite scary. I'd like to point out though that Medusa was cursed to be this way by a jealous Athena who wanted Medusa's boyfriend (virgin goddesses can be crazy that way . . .)
