My version of Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, one of the main characters in the series. After escaping from an underground dystopia where humanity struggles to survive, she fights off the 'evil' beastmen with Simon and Kamina. She's an incredible sniper, but not much of a politician. The image is referenced from the first part of the series.
Unfortunately the boots aren't quite right(Does gaia have flame bottom boots??)!

- ok there are 2 things that bother me about your avi. 1 no skull pin, why did you use garlic for it?! 2 her scarf isn't long it's short and i would use the pink one. other then that good job 3/5

- 4-no one mentioned anything about the gun, though that is definitely not the same as the other yoko attempts. I chose the harpoon gun, because it can be displayed from different angles, and it more closely resembles the gun in the cartoon... though the gaia gun selection is super limited. any suggestions? Thanks for input so far!

As per the other criticisms:
1-where did you find a black/red flame top? I must have missed it, but this was the closest I have found.
2-None of the scarfs made me happy, I have seen none that match exactly (if you notice in the cartoon, the scarf itself isn't even long, its more of a neck wrap. However, the chyaku scarf seems to complement her hair almost making it look like it is longer, so that is why I selected it.)
3- no orange/yellow glasses in the picture, therefore, no glasses - Report As Spam

Having seen at least 10 other yokos, I realize that mine is different. I saw the skull thing before and I do have the money for it... BUT... I chose not to use it. There is a lot more creativity involved in working on a limited budget, so I tried to find equivalents that satisfied the design criteria, while not depleting the pocket book.
Now anyone can be Yoko. ^_^ - Report As Spam
