Actually, it's more like saying you failed your driver's exam for running over an old lady. Knowing the info would have helped you out a lot, and would've kept these people from rating you low.

- I stated in my previous comment that the costume is nothing like the god. The only thing you got right is the headpiece. The rest is not even close. That is why I rated you as I did. At least look up a picture before you cosplay a historical figure, if nothing else to prevent you from looking like the idiot you keep proving yourself to be.

As Herr Wulf said, you should know SOMETHING of your subject AT THE VERY LEAST. It's clearly evident that the name and jackal-like head are all you know of Anubis. If you'd even referenced any depictions of him, you'd know that the helm from the Gift of the Gods is the ONLY part of that avatar that makes it even reminiscent of the god. As it is, your attempt is a horrid failure.

You're cosplaying Anubis. That means we expect you to have some sense of knowledge with at least a decent semblance to real life information. That's like telling me Thor is a frost giant and lives in Hel's realm or something. You just don't do that.
