Athena is the Greek goddess of Wisdom.She was born from her father Zeus and sprung out of his head in full body armor.
So here is my take on Athena. She is the symbol of great thoughts and ingenuity. The shield is supposed to be Aegis, the sheild she carries for her father. The small bird is supposed to be the owl which I hear was sacred to her. The concept was from my own mind I had no picture refference for her. - Date: 01/31/2010

- No, the cosplay arena IS the proper place for this. NO ONE, not a single person on this earth knows exactly what Athena is -supposed- to look like, therefore, we all in our own minds conceive our own ideas of her appearance. Just because it's someone's original thought on her, does not make it any less -her-. - This would probably do better in the original arena since its your version of Athena, but it is very pretty.
