Baiken is one of few characters born of Japanese decent in Guilty Gear. During the war against the Gears, Japan was destroyed and those left alive were placed in special colonies (Which the Gears attacked as well). In one attack, Baiken lost her parents, as well as her left arm and right eye. She seeks revenge on 'That Man,' whom she believes to be the creator of the Gears.
