- I dont believe you really need a reference pic. Thats why its optional. And even if you do have a reference pic, for some reason people think it has to look exactly like it..and I dont believe that either, You can't expect to always find a picture that matches your avi choice, but as long as its of the person you're portraying, its fine.4/5
