Jareth is the Goblin King, and rules over the Labyrinth. He stole the Babe, Toby Williams, on behest of his sister, Sarah. After she asked for Toby back, Jareth allowed Sarah to traverse his Labyrinth to teach her that things are not always what they seem, and not to take things for granted. He eventually falls in love with Sarah, and tries to woo her, but she defeats him, and leaves him broken...
