Hair: You got the right style.
Shirt/tie: Kudos for you. You got the right stuff.
Coat: Lose it.
Pants: Slacks would work better.
Shoes: Dress shoes would look a little better.
Overall, I think you did good. But I'd like to make a suggestion that may work with what you have in this entry.
Since you made his eyes red, why not cosplay the "funny" image of Kira writing in his deathnote? All you'd need is a table. C:
