It was a dark night when the wife and I were outside. All was quiet, until we heard the sound of crying. In a field of clovers, a lone tree stood. Under it's branches lay a basket, with a young human baby. Though we were Dark Elves, we simply could not leave the poor child alone, so we took her into our care.
Every day with her is a delight. We take her to the field each weekend and sit under the tree. My wife gives me a kiss each time we sit here.
