- Title: The Burning Monk
- Artist: phydeoux
- Description: On June 11, 1963, Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk in Vietnam, burned himself to death in the middle of downtown Saigon. He assumed the traditional lotus position as his fellow monks poured gasoline over him. He used a match to ignite himself and burned to death. David Halberstam, a reporter for the New York Times stated that he never moved a muscle, or made a sound as he engulfed himself in flames. Thich Quang Duc's remains were later cremated and legend has it that his heart would not burn.

- Thich Quang Duc was amazing. He just sat there with such serenity as he was burning alive, all to prove a point. A great ode to his powerful message. 10!
