She stared with disdain at the scene unfolding below her. Children laughed as they turned carefully wrapped gifts into a haze of technicoloured confetti. She had been taught from her infancy about such ceremonies of mortals. That each year thousands of Prisma were taken from their homes, chosen for their angelic features and immobilised atop trees for 31 days. It was the 25th and her imprisonment was almost at an end. Her hand flexed over her wand. Come the 31st, there would be hell to pay.
