- Title: The Burning Monk
- Artist: phydeoux
- Description: On June 11, 1963, Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk in Vietnam, burned himself to death in the middle of downtown Saigon. He assumed the traditional lotus position as his fellow monks poured gasoline over him. He used a match to ignite himself and burned to death. David Halberstam, a reporter for the New York Times stated that he never moved a muscle, or made a sound as he engulfed himself in flames. Thich Quang Duc's remains were later cremated and legend has it that his heart would not burn.

- This is a good idea. Taking the past and bringing it to reality in an arena. If you don't do well here, I'll be surprised. 5/5

Well done! I knew exactly what it was when I first saw it. Oddly enough I thought about this yesterday.
Peaceful resistance all the way!
