i am a caged bird in a lonely hell
my wings are clipped and there are chains around my neck
they cut my vocal cords so i couldn't scream
and plucked my feathers and my identity
locked away in a dark room
my desires hidden away
all i can do is sit and bleed on cold metal floor
shake the lock on my icy cage bars
it does no good there is no key
just a bottle in my heart
filled with my dreams
that has shattered on the metal floor
