She feinted beneath the swing of the broadsword to slide her knife into the knight's ribs and quickly moved backwards only to slip in the muddied, bloody ground.
Luck was on her side, it appeared, as an arrow whistled just inches above her head. She brought her naginata up to block a blow from an enemy's blade, and winced in pain as her block faltered and the blade sliced across her side. Gritting her teeth, she kicked her opponent away from her and launched herself back into the fray. - Date: 02/23/2010
