- Title: Artemis - Goddess of Light
- Artist: Light up the Night
-
Description:
Greek mythology reads of the Goddess of light named Artemis. My avatar symbolized that light so I dubbed it Artemis. This is not a cosplay of her, but an individual interpretation of mine on what she might look like.

(it cut me off :O)
I`ll just finish up what i was saying...
-Apollo, who was most commonly depicted as the god of healing, music, and light. It is a honest mistake and anyone could have done it. so there is no need to criticize when this avi has already won 2nd place. I think this is a wonderful idea for a avi theme - Report As Spam

um i love the Avi I really do very pretty
but... I`v been studying Greek cultures and their myths (yes, cultures because where you lived in ancient Greece largely influenced what Gods and Goddesses you believed existed and what they were god or goddess of) for a few years now and In one version of Greek mythology Artemis may have indeed been known for light. (of course I haven't studied Greek myths in years) But it is more likely Light up the Night here got Artemis confused with her twin brother - Report As Spam
