traveling quietly hither and yon
keeping to himself until he sees a sight
A sight of kindness, pure and white
A little boy giving up his favorite toy
This lonely angel, smiling with joy
Granted one wish to the little boy
The boy, wondering why the angel was alone,
wished for the angel to be whisked home
