The "Son of Svengoolie" show was a locally produced t.v. program that ran from 1979-1986 and featured low budget horror movies along with sketch comedy. Son of Svengoolie was played by Rich Koz, who took over for the original Svengoolie, Jerry Bishop (who played that role from 1970-1973. It was aired in the Chicagoland area along with other larger markets such as Detroit, Philly, San Fran and Boston (for a brief period).
