Look, if you don't have much gold to work with: don't enter the arena, it costs 1000 gold that you could of saved up or spend on items.
But, since I'm nice and I think your the only worthy one in the spotlight because everyone else's avatars suck.

- I voted 5/5 I like the idea of the budget because some people do find it hard to make a lot of money without begging, or hacking, or buying gaia cards. I for one, understand. Good job biggrin

- I judge an avatar by how it looks, not by how much it costs. You could spend 10g on your avi but if it's awesome I'll give it a 5.
