Victorian Gothic is the darker side, and my favorite, of the 1800's Victorian fashion. Started as "Gothic Revival" in England and trickled into America, influencing not only fashion but also architecture. A few of the most popular Victorian Gothic writers are of course Edgar Allen Poe, Bram Stoker, and Charles Dickens.
