Scheherazade was the legendary Persian Queen who was most renowned for her storytelling and narration of the 1001 Nights. She used the stories to keep King Shahryar from killing her after he marries her, as he vows to kill his wife after 1 day due to his misconception that all women will betray him. Her cleverness kept her alive and provided us with many wonderful tales, such as the ones about Aladdin and Sinbad.
