The Broken are those who died with a broken heart. It is far more tragic than those who continue to live and eventually mend.
There are many soul-keepers, but there is one so malicious and cruel, that her preference became The Broken souls. Nothing pleased her more than seeing weak-hearted humans crumble into nothing, unable to crawl from the darkness.
