For centuries, these creatures of the deep have lurked beneath the waters of the Mediterranean, waiting for travelers to entrance with their spell-binding voices. These more-sinister sisters of mermaids hide in dark and stormy seas and lure sailors with their promises of safety from the strong winds and crashing waves. No one knows exactly what happens to those men once they are dragged under, but they are never heard from again.
