Long ago, beneath a broken bridge
Underneath its pristine waters
Lies a royal creature, with an advantage
Deep down, unknown to foreigners
A white serpent resides, along with her sisters
One day, a traveler threw away, one magical pill
It descended below, pass the underwater hills
It sunk further, into the gloomy depths
Where many have swam, and given out of breath.

I was inspired by the Legend of the White Snake when I created the poem. I changed bits in pieces of the story. Below is the full version of my poem:

The serpent engulfed, what was thrown into her river
The pill gifted her, with large amounts of power
Swiftly, she swam up, to meet her unknowing benefactor
She gazed at him, from under the shallow water

Seeing a handsome man, wearing gold armor
Incognizant, to the precious gift he threw away
He turned on his heel, and continued on his way
The snake slithered from her hiding spot
Transformed into a beautiful maiden
