St. Theophilus was once a beautiful angel that lived in Heaven but desired powered that surpassed that of his brethren. During his lust for power he contracted a powerful demon from hell; he would augment his spiritual power in exchange for his angelic soul. After the pact was sealed, Theophilus evolved into an ethereal half-breed.
During the following days, his angelic blood unknowingly mixed with demon blood and he was suddenly loved by all spectral creatures, demons and angels alike.
