- Description: In all the underworld, there was no closer friend to Persephone than Cerberus. When she was lonesome or frustrated or confused, as she often was after conversing with the reclusive Hades, Cerberus was there to lift her spirits. Who wouldn't want three dogs in one? So in the small patch of foliage she managed to grow, they frolicked and lazed about until late in the evening.
