    Shot in the foot,<br />
    Still continuing,<br />
    To walk,<br />
    As the blood ran,<br />
    I fought back.    <br />
    Unwilling to cry,<br />
    To let go,<br />
    But now I see,<br />
    Now I know,<br />
    That what you,<br />
    Gave me,
    <br />
    Is something,<br />
    I shall always hold,<br />
    And carry,<br />
    Amongst the memories,<br />
    Flooding my heart.<br />
