• Artist Info: Tell me, Doth thou know the story of The Lady of Moof…?
People have often asked of me, the origins of my name….
I shall tell you a story.
One that has been passed down through the generations of my kin, to the very first, Lady of Moof… or Moofingham, as it is her Truest Name.

It begins now.

Once upon a time, in a land so very far from here, it was almost close, there was the kingdom of Moofingham. Now, the kingdom was a beautiful place; deep lakes, wide valleys, huge mountains, and no less than five forests, with only two being spirit and ghost infested – making it the third most unhaunted kingdom in all of the world. And at the prequel point of this tale, the Duke of Moofingham ruled it. The Duke was a kind man, who was generous to his people, but in the long run was a terrible knight, and fought many a battle to prevent the dreaded demons of the nearby Dark Lands, from invading the kingdom. In the 10th year of battle with the demons, the Duchess of Moofingham gave birth to a daughter, would one day be heir to the throne of the kingdom.
But Fate decided to play a new game, and set the left and right bowers on the table, and minded the trump. Due to the fact, that the planets aligned in a 88.63° angle, making the moon shine just right on a leaf that had just fallen from the branch of a maple tree in the land that would one day be Europe, an demon had a dream. This demon, whom would soon become the leader of the Demonic army, had a dream in which the leaf of an oak tree fell upon a shining lake, (in the land that would one day be Atlantis, except that Atlantis already existed at the time, and subsequentially was an ill omen dream but since the dream happened on the night in which the planets were aligned…. Well, you get the idea... anyway! It was a good thing. For the demons I mean, not the kingdom of Moofingham.)
Encouraged by this dream, the demon became a captain, and led the army to battle, one that had been planned for many months, and yet never undertaken because of the risks that had to be taken in order for it to be completed. Fortune was with the Demons, that day, for despite the brave actions of the people, the kingdom fell under the control of the Demons. The Duke was murdered before his throne, and the Duchess was forced to flee with her infant girl into exile…
Years passed, and the glory of Moofingham descended further into chaos. The people that survived those years, wished for the glorious return of the True Leader of Moofingham… but sadly, they never came.

Only generations later, would Fate recast her Hand. In a small village faraway, a young woman would be told an impossible story, telling her the truth of source of the blood that ran in her veins… She was, it seemed, heir to the throne of Moofingham. A peasant girl, that was destined to return her kingdom to Glory….
And that, I am afraid is where I am now. Lady only in title, but decreed by destiny to reclaim it… I am Moofingham….
