...it's as a sign of moral support of what your wrote, OR it's because I find your post relatable, or I just want you to know I see you and you're not alone, even in the most abstract of sense. 
Also there's a 90% chance I like what you posted and/or I have learned something new from it.

A lone flower decorated one corner of the table; its leaves wet from morning dew. 
She'd soon start on those spells she's working on; and the Professor?

Clad in pastel blue and peppermint pink, she is Berry Cola in human form. Her design is markedly young & fresh; a brainchild brought by a group of college students, champions of "Your Drink, Your Persona!" competition held worldwide. Some days you're an apprentice in magic and sorcery, some days you're a pin-up model for a fizzy drink.

"Hmmm?" the ghostly apparition hastened to repeat itself again, this time trying to whisper more slowly, allowing Steorra to capture each word that was said. She has an extensive network; humans not the least of it. There's a very good reason she was crowned "Otherworldly" model, after all. 
"So THAT was what it's all about."

She held her sunhat close, trying not to lose it...not in this scorching heat. "You know, for a boneyard spirit you sure are persistent, coming out this far to find me." The closest boneyard was hundreds of miles away from here; the beach. "Well, I've got something juicy to share, and 'dem spirits say it's something you'll make good use of." Raspy voice. Steorra paused for a moment, considering her options. 
 
"Out with it, then."

"You're up very early even on the weekends." 
Dressed for the part; she gave the spirit a discerning look, almost accusing it of being the reason why. Almost. "Let's settle this quickly, so you can continue with your transit." It cast what felt like a cold stare at her, its empty sockets for eyes glazing. "Yeah no, you've lingered long enough, and you don't even belong in this plane." Disgruntled noises followed by wheezing. Steorra waved away at the growing miasma. Even spirits sulk, see.

It has been approximately one month since she'd volunteered to babysit the group of Diedrichs that have presently, gathered at her feet. She'd learned a great deal about them as a species, and have also, unknowingly, grown rather...accustomed to them and their antics. 
 
The local Spring Fair was being held that day. 
She decided she could deal with them all now, in public. She did survive a whole month with them, after all.
