    Hello there. The name is Mai Valentine, or Kujaku Mai in the original Japanese. Don't let my beautiful looks fool you, I'm one of the top duelists in the world using my Harpie's as well as some Amazon cards to beat my opponents. I might even consider dueling you.<br />
    Don't worry, I don't use my aroma tactics anymore ever since Joey Wheeler (Jounouchi Katsuya) saw through my trick. I thought I could still win since he was a newbie at the game, but he beat me using his Time Wizard, my poor Harpie's aged and couldn't fly anymore and his Thousand Dragon defeated me. <br />
    In Battle City I dueled against Marik Ishtar (Malik) and, after losing Joey and Tea Gardner's (Mazaki Anzu) from my memory, I was sent to the Shadow Realm, slowly losing my memory of my friends, family, everything... When I reawakened I was fine, but after the tournament I went to smaller arena's, where I won again and again, but I still wasn't recognized as a duelist. Then I started having nightmares where I was sent to the Shadow Realm and I joined Dartz and used the Seal of Orichalco's to steal my opponents souls. All I could think about was defeating Joey, though, I thought beating him would help me move on with my life..<br />
    I dueled Joey and he forfeited the match, losing his soul in place of mine. He was always there for me and I turned on him... <br />
    Until the day I can face up to what I've done I'm on a mission to become a true duelist and find myself and my love for dueling again. So watch out, Mai Valentine is back!    <br />
