My name is Uryu Ishida. I was once the only true remaining Quincy, but that feels like centuries ago. While we were rescuing Orihime from Hueco Mundo, I was captured by an Espada named Szayel Aporro Granz.<br />

Before this, Ichigo had seemingly lost control of his power and stabbed me with Zangetsu, according to Szayel I had been infected with the reiatsu of Ichigo's hollow. Eventually, that reiatsu would consume me...<br />

For days I faced his grueling experimentation, but I was able to escape. The unfortunate thing is, that I was recaptured before I could make it back to Karakura Town. I waited for what felt like years, but Ichigo and the rest never came. I awoke one day with a zanpakuto. I knew then that I was no longer a Quincy, or even Uryu for that matter. <br />

When I returned to Karakura town, I discovered Ryuken's grave. Urahara informed me of Yamamoto discovering his location because I went to Hueco Mundo. He told me that Yamamoto had stopped my father from rescuing me, and even barred Ichigo and the rest from coming for the sake of observing what I could become. At first I didn't believe this, but when I discovered a note Ryuuken had left me in my old apartment, there was no mistake. I had never been grateful to the man who had saved my life...<br />

I don't really know what I've become, but what I do know, is that I despise Ichigo and the rest for leaving me behind. No, I do not serve Aizen, but I have broken my ties with Ichigo and the rest. Soul Society will pay for my father's death. However, if serving Aizen is what I must do, then so be it.<br />
