    Kanon is a young butler of Kinzo's mansion. His real name is Yoshiya (嘉哉?). He is a serious and fervent butler, carrying out his master's orders thoroughly. He is a bit frail and antisocial. He considers Shannon as an older sister and highly disapproves of her feelings for George, as he believes she should not feel love as she is only furniture. He has feelings for Jessica, which he tries to hide from even himself, because he thinks of himself as "furniture", rather than a human being. However, it is shown that he still deeply wishes to become a human being, and hopes to do so when he reaches the Golden Land. Based on what Beatrice has shown Battler, he is able to use a red blade of light in battle and link with Shannon.
