"B731X" adopted his creators last name when he overrid his functions and killed Jeremiah. Given the name "Benjamin" by the one who asked him to kill his master, a girl named Lorelei, Benjamin Aensland now seeks to discover humanity for what it really is, even if it is dark and unforgiving. "Humanity's own function seems to not be that far off that of my original programming. They kill each other over trivial things. Yet, something about them does not compute."
