I'm older than I seem.
I love to read and write. I write poetry, mostly, but am currently working on my first-ever serious novel. I've been told it's good, and I certainly hope my friends (and readers) wouldn't lie to me. I need constructive criticism in order to blossom. I hope to be published in 2011. Wish me luck in escaping wicked writer's block. Did I mention my muse is an entity all his own? Adrian Duluthian, a vampyre that is beyond your precious Edward in beauty, and he certainly is not a mockery of what vampyres are. He does not SPARKLE like a pansy. Adrian is a tribute to true aristocratic vampyricism, he loves to destroy people's minds, is unfailingly selfish, and burns if exposed to sunlight too long.
Most of the music I listen to comes out of Japan. My favourite band is X Japan and my favorite artist is hide [hee-deh!]. However, I listen to a lot of other bands, so if you have one, I probably know their music and members well enough to discuss them with you. Gackt was my introduction to Japanese rock. Since then, I've expanded to Chinese and Korean pop. I also listen to a lot of Western Hemisphere 80's and 90's music. I've also been known to listen to 70's stuff, as well. I'm not a huge fan of the Beatles, but they were great musicians (and some still are).
I love Harajuku styles. Not those plain jane ones that Gwen Stefani brought back to the West, either. Those are the ones that are "tolerable." Try image searching "cybergoth" (ex: DJ Sisen), "sweet lolita", "elegant gothic lolita" (ex. Mana), "visual kei", "grotesque lolita", and this list of bands: MUCC, Dir en grey, Nightmare, Malice Mizer, An Cafe, X Japan, The GazettE, Versailles.
I started Gaia in 2005, and I'll thank you for not calling me a n00b.
By the way, I despise 99% of Gaia. the 1% I like are the people, who are few and far between, that are actually intelligent and don't follow your stupid teenage fads, cyber, or "date" on Gaia. And go to Hell, Cash Shop. Gaia is now a fat-cat corporation, out for quick cash-grabs and easy money.
This man is my hero. He was, is, and always will be awesome. The world saw him leave far too soon. God bless you, hide-sama. You were one in a million!
