    <br />
    A child all aglow with winter on her mind,<br />
    Slid down that white-washed hill<br />
    And landed at an ill-fated time. <br />
    <br />
    No longer did the packed snow glisten;<br />
    It's purity tainted with muck<br />
    And to top it off there lay her doll<br />
    Frozen in place and covered by filth.<br />
    <br />
    Ignoring its tear-stained cheeks,<br />
    And ever present smile<br />
    The maiden wandered away;<br />
    Her innocence left behind<br />
    Remembered only as an indecent funeral.
