• A little kitten was wandering around his masters’ new house. The family previously won the $400,000 lottery and had gone out to eat. The little kitten was so bored; all he could do was wander around the house. He was suddenly hungry and he wanted some tuna fish. He was a clever cat and he can even break open a can by himself. Only God knows how he does it.

He ambled into the kitchen and then something darted part him near the far right side of the room. He knew it was a rat. He creeped silently near the counter, like a predator stalking his prey. He jumped onto the counter and looked around at right side of the room.

    Nothing.

He turned around to survey the left side when he saw it. The Rat. It was standing still and it’s beady, red eyes glowing with mischievousness. They glared at each other, having a silent eye stare-down.

The fierce kitten shot down onto the floor, after the gray rat. He chased it into the living, up the stairs, past bathrooms, a room with a poster of a unicorn and one with a rock music band and finally, he caught the rat by the tail. The Rat tried to escape, but couldn’t.

The killing was quick and clean. The kitten looked down at the empty shell and felt a sense of guilt. He felt horrible, but he couldn’t help that; he is in the same family as lions. He picked up the dead rat and walked to the grassland to properly bury it. Having done that, he strolled inside the house just when his masters came home.

The wife picked him up and cooed at him, “Aww, you’re so cute. You must be hungry. Let’s give you some tuna.”

It looked like he was finally having his dinner after all.
