• Chapter/Part 2

"What!" my mom screamed. "Jules was kidnapped by the pizza lady!" I yelled for the sixth time. "The pizza place isn't open past 10 o'clock smart one!" she screamed back. We had been yelling for a good 10 minutes by now, and I really didn't want to waste my time yelling at this person i was suppose to call mother. "I tried running after him!" I pleaded. She had to know I tried at least. "You didn't save him now did you!" she screamed and slapped me across the face. We stood in silence for a couple of minutes before she broke the silence. "I'm sorry." she said and reached out to touch my face. "Don't touch me." I spat and stormed to me and Jules's room.
"What are you doing?" my other mom asked. "Packing." I hissed and shoved some clothes into a bag. "Why?" she asked as I walked into the bathroom. "Why don't you ask mom." I hissed again and shoved toothpaste and toothbrushes in the bag. "Where are you going to sleep and eat?" mom asked thinking that would stop me. "Not here." I said and walked to the kitchen. "You need to stay home baby." she said in the best concerned mother voice she could manage. I grabbed an apple and walked to the door. "You never cared about me and Jules." I said turning to face them. "You only cared about yourself and the parties you went to. You left me and Jules alone most nights. You've made me grow up to fast. I was more than just a sister to Jules I was his mother. I was more of a mother to Jules than you will ever be. This was never a home to us." I said walking out the door. I never gave them a chance to reply. I could hear their cries inside, but they had no effect on me. I didn't care if she cried. I knew what I said had hurt them, but I didn't care never would care. Unlike them I was going to to go find my brother. He was out there and he needed me. I had to start somewhere and I would start at that corner. That corner was the last place I saw him. I didn't have a clue who took him or where they would take him but, I knew I would find him. I had to.
When I got to the corner I found a clue surprising enough. It was just laying there like it was planted right there for me to see. It was a piece of cloth. It was a white satin circle with the word blood in red in the middle and it had a X through the word. I picked it up and slipped it into m y pocket. I was going to have to find out what this was. It was all I had to go on at the moment. It was a clue to where my brother was.
I walked down the street to a cafe and got on one of their computers. I started to think of what I could possibly look up. So I went to google and searched images on patches. Nothing. I looked up words + X. Nothing. I looked up blood + X and it was there. It was a family crest. I clicked the picture and it took me to the myspace page of Boo Blood. His page said he was a eighteen year old boy with pink hair and brown eyes. He had two brothers and a sister. Bracken, Damon, and Jezebel. They were home schooled in the city and this crest was their family crest. Their last name in the circle and the four point on the X stood for the four kids. "Interesting." I thought. Now all I had to figure out was where this Boo Blood lived. While I was thinking an instant message (IM) box popped up. "Why would I be getting an instant message?" I wasn't logged into anything. The instant message was from Jezebel Blood. "Who are you?" I asked her. "Why, don't you remember me?" she questioned. "No." I replied. "Well I remember you chasing me to get your precious brother back." she said. "WHERE IS HE!" I said. "Across the street hothead." she said. I looked across the street and sure enough he was there, but he wasn't alone. There were three guys with him. "Her brothers" I looked back at the screen. "I'll ask anyway so I know for sure." I thought. "Who are the guys?" I asked her. "Those are my brothers." she said. "There names." I pushed. "Pushy Pushy." she said. "There names." i replied. "Fine. The shortest is Boo. Tallest is Bracken, the last one is Damon." she replied. "What do you want." I said. "Well, Boo wants you he said your cute." She said. "Quit playing games." I said. "Geez fine you kill joy. All you have to do is walk across the guys will take it from there. Good-bye." she said and my computer shut-off.
I looked across the street and the shortest, Boo, motioned for me to come. I got up from my chair and walked across the street. "Okay, I'm here now what." I said. "Julie." Jules said. "Shut-up kid." the tallest, Bracken, said pulling on Jules's collar. "Don't you hurt him!" I yelled. "Shut-up little missy. " the last kid, Damon, said grabbing my wrists. "Let's go." Bracken hissed. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Your new home." Boo said with a wicked smile.
    Once again everything went black.
