• Kitt glared at him as he waited for a response, but, little did he know, he wasn't getting one.
    "Please respond." he pleaded.
Kitt's ears pricked up out of her haystack of hair.
Kristopher's eyes went as wide as dinner plates making Kitt laugh with no humor. "I thought you knew." she told him, jumping off her bed.
"I-I did, but it's just weird seeing it." Kristopher stammered.
"Sweetie, please look away from my ears. My eyes are down here." she pointed down. Then her animal instinct took over, and her tail flicked around her legs causing his eyes to go from almost-back-to-normal to dinner-plate again. "Do i really have to tell you to look at my eyes again." Kitt asked placing her hands on her hips.
Kitt was lucky the sun was still up because at night her body gets covered in fur.
Kitt gestured for him to sit, once his eyes were back to normal, and he obliged.
"How did you know what i am?" she asked.
"Your eyes, and yowl." Kitt cursed.
"Animal instincts are hard to control." Kitt hissed through her teeth.
"Whoa kitty." Kristopher said. Though his eyes were joking Kitt's anger was boiling. As soon as he saw that he apologized.
"Sorry, but uh......" the awkward moment hung in the air.
"I am sorry for my reaction. Please forgive me." Kitt now hissed.
    "It's okay."
"Thank you." her anger was lowering.
    "It's nothin'."
"Who's your sister?" Kitt asked pulling out a notepad that just happened to be on the floor.
His eyes brightened, but he stayed serious. "Her name is Lily. She has light brown hair, brown eyes, and a nice tan......like mine." Kitt was writing furiously. "She is a little kilowatt when it comes to being happy; i don't think i've ever seen her sad.
"She loves purple." he paused to think. "That's it."
Kitt finished the last words, and stood up. The cat inside her wanted to leap out and use its claws, but she pushed it back. She always had to fight to keep her human form when it was almost night.
    Night!
Kitt started to freak out. "Uh....i think i got everything i need." her transformation was painful. some may think that's dumb, but you try having hair shoot out of every pore, claws shooting out of your fingernails, and your pupils shrinking down to a smaller size, and then comment on it.
    "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, sure." the words shot out of Kitt's mouth.
"Bye then." he lingered in the open doorway.
"'For heaven's sake get out of my freaking house!" she yelled, pushed him out, and slammed the door, just as the change started.
Kristopher listened as her painful yowls emitted out the closed door.
