My Point, and I do Have One
    Ellen DeGeneres

Front Cover (FACEBOOK NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE THE IMAGE OF THE PERTY FRONT COVER I MADE, BECAUSE IT IS ON THE PROJECT THAT MY TEACHER HAS.)
The front cover symbolizes going off topic/loosing track off thoughts. The reason why I picked this design is to emphasize the fact that Ellen DeGeneres tends to go off topic or loose her track of thought for a few paragraphs, which she does very often, and which was quiet funny by my standards, frankly because it reminded me of myself. (I'm not really much of a writer that stays on topic, I write my thoughts and feelings, not novels.) Anywho, The cartoon drawing is Ellen, of course, and I drew it to look similar to the little cartoon drawing of her in the book. Except, it wasn't really in color. The thought bubbles with the red X's through them indicate going off topic, but then returning to the original track of thought, aka the thought bubble with the title.

    Inside Flap
Ellen, Ellen, Ellen. That's all you'll get in this book. Funny, exciting, and hard to put down. Ellen just keeps on going with her short stories of wonders. She's got everything, and not too much of it, Just the right amount.
She knows a little of everything. From her so-called “scary stories” that will make you giggle, to her describing her average day in life, I repeat, you'll find everything. Except maybe water buffalo and belly buttons.
But you better be mature. Adults swear. And Ellen swears in this book. So if you're five and don't even understand this, don't read it. If you're a concerned adult who just despises any kind of swearing, then you probably despise the stuff in this book. But doesn't that make you curious?

    Character
Who else would be my favorite character but Ellen herself? I love her. Ellen's the author of this book. Oh come on, didn't you know that already? It's supposed to be about her “life experiences” even though they're made up. At least I think they are. Some of them just couldn't happen. But yeah, anywho, the reason why she's my favorite character is because she just reminds me so much of myself! I can't stop refering to that. It's hard not to. Why? Because it is. That, and because she's awesome. Why is she awesome? Because she reminds herself of me. (Etc, etc, etc) She's funny, has my kinda of sense of humor, and talks about the most random stuff ever. Like I do.

    Review
OK. I loved this book. Loved it. Though this was an older book of hers, I'm going to get a copy of her other book, The Funny Thing Is.... I think it's worth it. I can't really give a plot line for this book. There wasn't really one, because it was just a bunch of short stories or a few silly lists that she had written. I wouldn't mind if she had a few more lists though.
I really thought it was funny that she skipped chapters 13 and 14. She skipped chapter 13 because of superstition, and she skipped chapter 14 because it was really 13, But wouldn't that make chapter 15 chapter 13 too? It's confusing, but once you think about it, you might giggle. A bit. I hope.
She's never ending fun. If I wasn't feeling too well that day, I would pick up her book and read some of it, and start giggling. It would make me happy. Laughter is the best medicine, right? That and... um... I don't know, I'm not a doctor. Probably exercise. But yeah, if you are feeling down, or just want a few giggles, you should read this book.
Yeah, I know, it sounds cheesy. “Just read this book.” Or, I could make it sound like the Nike slogan.
So do me a favor. “Just Read It”
