• The next morning Dane came in, shaking Addison awake. “Get dressed, Addie.” he said as she sat up. “I’ll meet you down stairs.” he said leaving the room, allowing Addison to get dressed. She dressed quickly, throwing on a pair of jeans, a grey t-shirt and her sneakers from the night before. She pulled out a small compact mirror and dashed her eyes with jet black eyeliner, making her blue eyes glow. She put the mirror away and opened the door, leaving Julia asleep in the bed.

Addison descended the two flights of stairs where she entered the living room which appeared more welcoming in the sunlight than it did at night. The slender woman who was sleeping on the floor was awake now, and standing with Dane by the front door. Addison noticed that her slender frame was accompanied by long sexy legs which were done up in hiking boots and fishnet stockings. Her clothing wasn’t as revealing as it had been last night. She wore a short camouflaged skirt with a large belt that had charms hanging off of it, and a cut off sleeveless white shirt exposing her belly piercing and stomach tattoo, a fierce looking sun surrounding her navel.

“Addie, this is Tina.” Dane said, introducing them. “You’ll need this.” he said as he handed Addison a 9mm gun. “If anyone tries something funny, or goes over board, well. Threaten, and when that doesn’t work, wound, then get the hell out of there.” he said. Addison nodded as she tucked the gun in the back of her jeans. “Have you ever shot a gun before?” Dane finished.
“My dad taught me for to shoot when I was seven. So, unless guns have changed since then, I’m sure I’ll be fine.” she replied. “Plus it was the same type of gun.” she finished as she pulled the gun out, checked to see if it was loaded, then put the safety on.
Dane smiled, “Yeah. I think you’ll do just fine. I called my client a little while ago, I asked him for the favor. He’s working on the background of the documents, the person claiming to be family and such. By the time you get back, I should have a call with an update from him.” he nodded as Tina opened the door and walked out. Addison nodded as well before following Tina out the door to the vehicle they were to use.

“Whoa, a motorcycle?” Addison asked. “Dane, I’ve never driven a motorcycle.”
“It’s simple. Just like riding a bike. This one is special though. You don’t have to shift gears. Very rare. You’ve got to get going.” he said as Addison jumped on the motorcycle, put a helmet on and started it up. It vibrated to life underneath her, she gave a deep sigh as Tina hopped on behind her and grabbed her waist. Addison kicked the stand off and pulled on the gas, and revved out of the drive way and on down the street. Taking back roads and short cuts to Mr. Alcutta’s place. Thirty minutes later Addison and Tina arrived at Mr. Alcutta’s mansion, two men stood outside by the gate.
“Um, Tina?” Addison asked as she stopped the bike and turned.
“I’ll handle this.” Tina replied as she took her helmet off, “I’ve got an appointment with Mr. Alcutta. He’s expecting me.”
“Name?” One of the guards asked,
“Tina Jones.” she replied, the guard looked through a list, then nodded.
“Alright. Your name is on here. Who is this?” he asked, pointing to Addison.
“My body guard.” Tina replied, the guard snickered then waved to the other man, who opened the gate. “Thanks boys.” she grinned as she put her helmet back on.

Addison revved the engine as she waited for the gate to open, when it opened she drove up the smooth concrete drive up to the house where she parked the bike. Tina hopped off first, Addison hopped off after her, and took her helmet off and sat it on the bike, and took Tina’s from her and sat it down beside hers. Tina strolled up to the front door, Addison right behind her as a man opened the door. He nodded to Tina and gave Addison a strange look.
“I thought Mr. Alcutta only ordered one girl?” he asked.
Tina smirked. “He did. This is my guard. Where I go, she goes. Move over James.” she replied as she walked in, Addison offering a friendly smile to James as she passed by and followed Tina.

Tina strolled up the grand staircase where she greeted a man with an affectionate kiss.
“Tina!” the man seemed to cheer, “Oh how I’ve missed my Tina. Ooh, who is this?” he asked as he wrapped an arm around Tina’s midsection.
    “This is Addison, my guard.”
“Ah, It’s about time they got someone to keep you in line.” he laughed. “You may make yourself comfortable downstairs, Miss. I’ll send our Tina back down to you when we’re through. Thank you.” he said as Addison looked at Tina.

Tina nodded and Addison walked back down the stairs and walked around the grand room, she sat down on a long couch and grabbed a magazine and flipped through it. Two hours later she heard Tina laughing and giggling as she walked down the stairs. Addison got to her feet and met her at the bottom of the stairs.
“Same time next week, Robert?” she called up the stairs.
“I’ll have Mary pencil you in.” he replied, a large cigar smoking between his thumb and pointer finger. “Later love.” he called after her as she and Addison walked out the front door and jumped back on the bike.

As Addison arrived back at Dane’s place and parked the bike in the back and walked inside. Tossing the helmet on the chair as she walked passed on her way to the kitchen. Dane was sitting at the table with Julia, both having waffles.
“Ah, I take it everything went well?” Dane asked, a innocent grin on his face.
“Yea, it went fine. Didn’t have to shoot anyone.” Addison replied as she pulled the gun out from her jeans and handed it back to Dane.
Julia’s eyes went wide as she watched the gun exchange hands in front of her. “You had a gun with you?” she asked, Addison gave her a confused look. “Why didn’t you just shoot, Ms. Murder and get it over with?”
“Because someone worse might have came and took her place.” Addison replied as she sat down and grabbed a waffle and the syrup.
“When you’ve finished eating I’ve got some news to tell you, Addie.” Dane replied as Addison stuffed a forkful of waffle in her mouth.
Addison nodded and eat quickly, chugging the glass of milk she’d poured between her gulping the waffle down. Dane got up and went into the living room, Addison followed.

“What’s up?” Addison asked Dane, who gave a loud sigh and ran his hand through his hair.
“How old were you when your parents died?”
Addison’s face went from serious to shocked, “I was seven.” she replied, “Why?”
“Because your father had cheated on your mother. You’ve got a half sister. She’s three years younger than you.” he said, Addison shocked face became confused.
    “What?” she asked,
“Look, my guy found out that when you were three your father had an affair with another woman and got her pregnant. His name is on three birth certificates. Yours, your brother, Noah and there was a girl born between you and your brother. She’s fifteen, she’s three years younger than you and two years older than your brother, who would be thirteen this year, right?”
Addison nodded. “I was five years older than him. He was two when we got in the car wreck.” she trailed off. “What about this sibling I have?”
“You’re never gonna believe me. So, just ask Julia how she got to the orphanage.” Dane replied.

Addison’s face went blank as she turned to look at the young teenager sitting at the table eating waffles and talking to Tina. After a few minutes of her not being able to move from shock she walked back into the kitchen.
“Julia?” she asked. The young girl looked up at her.
“Yeah?” she replied, her blue eyes almost piercing Addison’s heart like a dagger. “What’s up?”
“How did you end up at the orphanage?”
Julia dropped her fork, “Some one from social services took me there. My mother committed suicide. I never met my dad. My mom told me he was dead, but every time I asked her about him, she’d start crying. She never told me his name, but gave me a picture of her and him together.”
“Do you have that picture?” Addison asked, Julia nodded. “Oh, where is it?”
“It’s in my bag upstairs.” She replied, “Want me to go get it?”
    “No, that’s okay.” Addison replied.
Julia cocked her head to one side, “You okay Addie? You look really pale.”
Addison smile, “I’m fine. I’m gonna go lay down.” she finished as Julia smiled and finished her waffle, as Addison walked up the stairs, her mind wondering like mad.

When she reached the floor their room was on, she hesitated for a moment, staring at the door for a moment before she gathered her courage and walked inside. She noticed Julia’s bag sitting on the floor in the far corner. Addison turned and locked the door and grabbed Julia’s bag and tossed it on the bed before she unzipped it and rummaged through it. She found a frame and pulled it out. Beneath the glass of the frame was four small black and white pictures, cut out and matted on another piece of paper. Addison’s eyes instantly began to tear up as she looked at the man in the pictures. She walked over to her bag and pulled out the picture of her father and held it up next to Julia’s pictures. The man was the same in all five. Julia and Addison were sisters. Tears streamed from Addison’s face as a knock echoed through the room.
“Addie?” Julia’s voice echoed through the wood.
    “Yeah?” Addison sniffled.
    “You okay?”
“No, I’m not kiddo.” she replied as she walked over and unlocked the door and opened it.
“Addie! You’re crying!” Julia gasped. “What’s wrong?”
Addison didn’t reply, just held the photo’s out. Julia took both frames, and looked down, first at hers, then at Addison’s.
“I don’t…” she trailed off as she looked closer. “Wait, my dad.. And your dad?” Julia’s voice ran down. Addison nodded.
“Yeah. We’re sisters.” she said in a hushed tone. “I was born first, when I was three, dad had an affair with your mom, and then my-our brother, Noah was born two years later.”

Julia sat down on the bed, her face was pale, her eyes wild, her expression confused. She was letting it all sink in. She wasn’t really alone. She’d been with her big sister all along.
“Dane wanted me to give you this.” she whispered as she handed Addison a folded up envelope. “He didn’t say what was inside.”
Addison took the envelope from Julia’s hands and opened it. Inside laid two birth certificates, and a wad a cash, with a note paper clipped to the cash. Addison pulled the certificates out first. It was hers and Julia’s. Then she pulled the note out and read it.
“Take these back to the orphanage, there’s enough money to cover what ever the head mistress will try to pull, she might try and say you don‘t have a place to stay. You do have a place to stay and a job if you still want it. If not, there’s more than enough money to find you guys a place of your own. I hope you stay with us for awhile. -Dane”
“Addie?” Julia’s small voice whispered from the bed.
“Yeah?” Addison asked as she turned to look at her.
    “Is everything okay?”
Addison smiled, “Everything is great. We’ve gotta go back to Twin Oaks though. But we’re not staying. You’re coming back with me. Dane found our birth certificates, both have our dad’s name on them. She can’t say we’re not related because they’re copied from the hospital.” Addison paused as she looked down at the wad of cash. “Let’s go.” she said as she put the envelope in her pocket and started down the stairs.

“Dane can I--” Addison started only to pause as Dane tossed her the keys to the motorcycle. “Thanks.”
“Yup. Good luck.” he said as the girls walked out the front door.
