• "Follow me" he whispered in my ear. I wasn't going to protest, the party was becoming a little overwhelming anyway. He took my hand and guided me out the back. "Where are we going?" I asked softly. He said nothing but only answered with a grin. It was the grin that made me weak at the knees, the grin that made me fall for him in the first place. Of course he had no knowledge of this. We walked through trees and bushes, when we finally reached the lake. The moon was glowing and looked hypnotic as its light hit against the water. We walked along the dock and as we got to the edge, he pulled me down to sit next to him. His eyes met mine, I smiled shyly turning my head away. I didn't know what to do, my heart was going so fast I thought it would explode. As I did so, his hand came to my face, and pulled from under my chin to make me face him again. "I've been waiting for this moment for so long." he whispered. He leaned in close to me, his face inches from mine. I couldn't help but mimic his actions and move closer towards him also. As if a jolt of lighting shot through me, he kissed me deeply. I felt like a could fly. My head was floating. His hands tangled through my hair as he continued the kiss showing no sign of department anytime soon. His mouth still moving against mine, he lay me down along the wooden plants of the dock. This felt so right, the moment I had always dreamed of but never thought would happen. I felt his heart beat faster as we continued. "Josh! Hey Josh! Common man where are you!?" A distant, drunken voice yelled. "Common, we should head back" He sighed giving me a lovingly kiss of the forehead before helping me up. As we walked back, he hand holding with mine I knew this was only the start of a new and wonderful begining. Josh and I together, finally.
