As Hero and Acqua disappeared into the gymnasium, Ms. Hikari was watching them from her classroom window on the second floor.

“A fair set of gifted teenagers are they not?” spoke a voice from behind her.

“That they are Headmaster. But why’d you enroll all of them in my room?” She questioned him while continuing to watch the P.E students play volleyball outside on the court.

“My answer is simple . . . you are the only member of the teaching staff to understand what their life is like, full of secrets, pain and suffering. After all you were once just like them and still are.” He replied in a sharp tone.

Ms. Hikari closed her eyes, still facing the window, as a piece of her snack floated in her direction.

“I know, don’t remind me please. I was this little girl who had no idea as to what was happening to her mind and body. And with no parents to guide me or a roof over my head, I was just a little ball of chaos. That’s until you took me in headmaster.” A tear fell from her face as she spoke of her memories.

“This is why I gave them all to you Rei, you have the compassion to teach and guide them, as I did for you. Be a person they can trust, be someone that they’re comfortable around. Do this and you will have no problem communicating with them.” The headmaster spoke

Ms. Hikari was now sitting on a desk still watching the students play. “Headmaster, I’ll do it! You entrusted these kids into my care and it’s rude to refuse a challenge.” She smiled as she watched Hero score a rally point down below.

“Another thing, keep an eye on that Hero boy. I fear his journey has just begun and much potential lies within him.” Headmaster spoke with worry.

Ms. Hikari was now watching Hero intently as he hugged Acqua, happy from his rally point.

“I will, he does have an unknown quality to him. And he was kind enough to compliment me after I introduced myself to the class, of course he didn’t say aloud though.” She giggled. The headmaster sighed aloud.

“You read his mind, didn’t you? What did I tell you about doing that? . . . Never mind. I know you’ll help these teens do great things. Now let’s have some tea before homeroom begins.” He smiled exiting the room.

“Alright headmaster, I’m right behind you.” She took another look out the window, noticing Hero, back focused into the game.

'Hero, from what the Headmaster said you’re destined for a great adventure ahead. I’ll help you in what ever way I can.' She thought, leaving the room to find the headmaster. As she turned the corner she bumped into a person.

“Oh, sorry Ms. Hikari!” spoke the body in front of her.

“Airisu, Is that you?” Ms. Hikari had take a look up, form where she fell, at the body

    “Kei?!” she whispered in shock.

“Ms. Hikari don’t worry, it’s me Airisu. I’m here to tell you that I gotta cut homeroom to handle a situation down town. Okay?” Kei spoke in haste, as she was in a hurry without anybody else noticing her in her current form.

“Okay, I’ll excuse you. But don’t expect to make this a habit.” Ms. Hikari informed Kei sternly.

“Thank-you Ms. Hikari, I’ll see you tomorrow” Kei leaped up dashing toward an open window.

    “Airisu!” shouted Ms. Hikari

    “Yeah?” she replied

“Be careful out there, I’m still responsible for your safety, alright?” Ms. Hikari smiled.

“You got it! I’ll be careful.” Kei grinned and gave thumbs up then leaped out.

“MINE!!” shouted Hero as the ball was set up for another spike. During the time Hero
contacted the ball, Kei had swiftly landed on the net. Just in unfortunate time to deflect
Hero’s spike right back into his face.

“Damn! So much for going unnoticed,” Thought Kei bouncing quickly off the net, vanishing into the trees. Hero got up from being knocked down.

“I swear someone deflected that spike and it wasn’t any of the people on the other side.” He thought.

“Hero, Are you okay?” shouted Acqua.

“Yeah I’m alright! Takes a lot more than a ball to bring me down” He answered. He tossed the ball to another student, signaling to continue play without him.

“You sure, It seems you got sent back pretty far.” Acqua questioned him.

“Yes Im sure Im fine Acqua. But listen I’m not going to be in homeroom next period. Could you cover for me please?” He requested.

    “I don’t know. . .” Acqua teased.

    “Please!” He begged.

“Fine, but only this once, any other time is your problem. Got that?” she answered.

“Got it, Thank-you,” Hero smiled running off, jumping over the school walls into the trees behind.

“I’m going to find out who interrupted my volleyball game, and I know they went in this direction.” Thought Hero zipping through the thick trees.

As Ms. Hikari watched from the window where Kei leaped out of and Acqua watched from where she conversed with Hero. Worry struck the both of them, and was only continuing to build. “Hero please be careful. . .” thought Ms. Hikari, holding her hands to her chest.

'Don’t do anything stupid Hero, you’ll regret it.' Acqua thought. She turned around as the bell rug for homeroom and walked thought the schools doors.
